Just as campy and terrible as the original with (I hope) what are pretty terrible CGI effects and some good old-fashioned practical effects, including a surprising amount of people cut clear in half. The characters are over-the-top, as are the cars and if you are a fan of the old B-movies (or Roger Corman), you'll at least enjoy this a little.
