Just another subpar horror flick that relies on the gimmicky "cursed artifact" trope and obnoxiously panders to the teen demographic. It's also not scary, original, or even the tiniest bit interesting.

Harmless tween horror based on the popular "Monkey's Paw" story about being careful what you wish for. Most of the interesting characters get killed off, though it is nice to see Barb from Stranger Things (Shannon Purser) get some more face time. This is perfect Halloween horror for a gaggle of girls, but hardcore horror fans will roll their eyes, repeatedly.

It feels as if it's centuries ago, but I can still remember me and my wife (when our relationship was not yet sealed by the lifelong ritual called marriage) going to the cinema to watch "Final Destination".
