"The Great Mouse Detective" feels more like one of the many Disney impersonators than one of the studio's own, but it's not without its charms.

Worth it for the wonderful Sherlockian references, especially to Billy Wilder, and Vincent Price's turn as the villain.

I really dug this, as a kid, and I still admire it today. The characters are so good and the climax is actually exciting. An underrated Disney gem.
