Plot: Irina, an aging actress brings a successful novelist on a summer holiday to visit her husband and son. Nina, an innocent girl on a neighboring estate, falls for the novelist. He uses this to his advantage, to corrupt and ultimately reject her - much as Irina has rejected her son, who, in turn, is infatuated with Nina.
