Horrible remake. Just for some guys to see a long semi nude scene in which the actress that played Jamie in the previous ones is almost killed. Why do they keep making these movies?

An ugly and contemptible film that misses the point of what made the original Halloween so effective and suspenseful. First off, we had no idea what the hell motivated Michael Myers to kill and become what he is.

Just see the original

When I watched the original Halloween I just remember thinking "this needs more boob and blood." Oh wait no I didn't. One thing thats been lost on the horror genre is that we as an audience don't need to see everything. We all have our imaginations and most of the time that can be a whole lot scarier then anything that can be put on screen. I don't need to see every single gory detail of the murder just the person being killed by the killer can be scary enough. Also why did we need the rape scene. It did nothing to further the plot except in telling us that Michael got out while two red necks were raping a girl. The theater version didn't have the rape and I didn't have any issues with how he got out. The only positive from this movie is that it does a good job of giving a back story too …

Halloween Review

Now here's a remake worth talking about. I was worried really bad about this movie being torn apart badly. Because face it Rob Zombie is not a good director. But Halloween will rank as his best try to be one. Michael Myers is the best horror genre killer there is in my opinon. Rob Zombie captured him on camera at his best which was amazing Michael looked darker than ever and meaner than ever. Rob Zombie took Myers and made him believable. Tyler Mane's performance as Myers will be his best ever. Malcolm McDowell had a good perfomance but won't pass Donald Pleasence as Dr. Loomis nobody will I don't care how hard you try. Scout Taylor Compton did ok. This won't sky rocket her career as a actress like it did Jamie Lee Curtis, sorry only works once. Brad Dourif Did Great as Sheriff Bracket …

Great Classic Brought to Life Again

Although I never watched the original series, I thought Halloween was a great movie. There was enough outside story to make me relax, which made the trilling moments seem more extreme.
The acting, along with the writing of the script, seemed very realistic in my perspective. The movie brought the old clique of horror, but added just enough of everything to make the movie not seem cheesy or normal. While I try to do other things while I'm watching a movie, I just couldn't tear my eyes away from the screen.
All the nice things being said, there was only one things I really didn't like in the movie and that was the music choice. Of course, the original theme was in there, which was really nice, but the rest of the music somehow didn't fit the mood at all. When some music played, I …
