I am not above sincere family entertainment, especially when it doesn't talk down to its target audience. The proudly naive yet good-natured "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" fully commits to its wacky adventure premise.

Is it just me or does every time a character says "Pa-Ra-Pa-Ta", it sounds like "Bah-dup-bup". Not great, but surprisingly not bad.
