Emotionally gripping and compelling trial drama about a true-life miscarriage of justice. Great acting from an excellent cast. Standouts are the stars Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx.

"Just Mercy" spins a noble thread during its 2-hours and some change runtime, but despite all good intentions, a compelling and forceful movie never materializes out of this overlong and overly conventional legal drama.
