This is a strange bird of a movie - but was still a good watch. Parenthood is never easy - but how far would one go to protect their child - even if said child is actually an alien parasite with a creepy autotune voice and a piercing scream. I have to hand it to Eisenberg and Poots - who do some excellent work as the couple forced into this circumstance, they really make it work. Many have compared this to an extended episode of Black Mirror - and I'm okay with that - it's an apt take on this and that's not a bad thing.
