A slow burn thriller anchored by the excellent Maika Monroe who plays a young woman uprooted to Bucharest by her husband's (Karl Glusman) job. Not having a good grasp on the language and getting acquantid with the city, she begins to suspect that a neighbor across the way is constantly watching her. But is it paranoia on her part or something much more sinister. Burn Gorman plays the titular watcher and is perfectly creepy for the role while Madalina Anea plays another neighbor one of the few friends she makes. While some may find the pacing a bit slow, I thought it built up nicely.

Solid psychological thriller thanks to Maika Monroe as a young woman fearful that her voyeuristic neighbor might be a killer.
