It's not as smart or strong as the first movie, but even then, it's still an entertaining comedy that spins the whodunit genre.

Smart and immensely enjoyable, but couldn't they have just shot the murderer in the head? Did they really need to destroy one of my favourite portraits?

Pretty good followup to KNIVES OUT, I must say. Some things I liked better in the first one but I'm glad it's not just a retread of the earlier film. For one thing, Daniel Craig has a much larger role in this compared to the first movie. The ensemble cast is used effectively and as with any decent mystery movie, they all serve as likely suspects. It might owe a lot to The Last of Sheila with a little bit of Evil Under the Sun in terms of plot, but I really enjoyed this.
