"The Nun II" further expands the "The Conjuring" series, but like many movies before it, fails to come up with anything fresh, interesting, or scary enough to vindicate the continued exploration of this universe.

I think this is an improvement over the first Nun film, but just a bit. The film still relies too much on the tired jump scares for the most part but there are a few exceptions. That being said, I still think this is the weakest link in the Conjuring franchise, but we'll see if they continue to incorporate it in the future.
