Plot: Paul Sturges sees the opportunity to take his family on vacation when he is sent to inspect an oil rig in Mexico for his company. Upon their arrival, however, he finds it nearly abandoned with only a few workers left and all say the same thing: a monster shark of legend has been attacking them relentlessly. With the rig sinking he finds out the creature is more than mere legend and now he will do anything to get his family to safety. -- Chris Kavan

Equal parts boring and preachy - with more family drama than anything else, Black Demon should have just been called CAPTAIN PLANET OR HOW I LEARNED ABOUT AN ANGRY SHARK GOD THAT APPEARS FOR FIVE MINUTES AND ALSO MIGHT MAKE YOU SEE THINGS AND LOVE THE ENVIRONMENT. The acting is sporadic at best. Makes The Meg seem like an Oscar winner.
