The constant use of bee metaphors is amusing and weird. But aside from that, this is a standard action thriller starring Jason Statham. It's got some good action scenes and it looks better than most recent movies in this genre.

I realize The Beekeeper isn't headed to The Criterion Collection but for a pure action film, it's fine. Plus, who doesn't want to see a bunch of a-holes get their cards punched. Alas, our world could use a few good beekeepers right now, but I'll guess I'll settle for this John Wick knockoff instead.

Even for a "John Wick" copy, this was pretty awful. Thought went into the kills, but not anywhere else in this fraudulent excuse for entertainment.
