Plot: Actress Elizabeth Sparkle is facing the harsh realization that her best

A comentary-rich marathon of one Cronenberg-esque nightmare after another, "The Substance" is the rare movie where the performances, music, and visuals all match in their intensity. The sound design and effects are amazing too, and Demi Moore absolutely slays here in her Toni Collette (Hereditary) moment.
