Day of the Clones is suspenseful and thought provoking leaving me thinking about the true possibility of cloning humans. In this film, humans are cloned for manual labor and programmed for obedience but they rebel and rise up against their exploiters and society collapses into chaos. To escape the chaos, the main lead, Sam and his pregnant girlfriend Lindsey, along with their android protector retreat to a remote farmhouse hoping it will be safe. But soon the trio's sanctuary becomes a battleground as they reluctantly take in a ragtag group of survivors. Not my usual type of movie but this sci-fi, adventure story is a win - not to mention winning 'Best Film’ at the 2023 “International Motion Picture Awards.”
