Plot: Based on the best-selling novel by Michael Morpurgo, Kensuke's Kingdom follows Michael, who joins his family for a round-the-world sailing trip. But when a storm hits, Michael is separated from them with only the family dog, Stella, joining his plight. Winding up on a remote Pacific island, the two manage to survive and even form a bond with a Japanese stranger.
