Informative and entertaining. Though, not much drama to speak of. Neeson is great and the subject matter is sometimes fascinating.

It had a decent enough plot to keep me interested. But, in real-life Kinsey's work was much more problematic, immoral, and unscientific. The movie did little to show this.

It's usually a good idea to steer away from biopics with only a surname for a title, but this one's worth your time. Liam Neeson plays the entomologist-cum-sexologist who hooks up with both Clara (Laura Linney) and Clyde (Peter Sarsgaard). Furthermore, Kinsey confirms something I've suspected for a long time: Being in a hotel room with a naked Peter Sarsgaard will easily increase your Kinsey Scale rating a point or two.

A great movie about the scientific acquisition of information about sex. I've seen this movie when it first came out on DVD and it remains one of my favourites because of its unflinching look at a man's life and his devotion to his work. Even though everything around him starts to fall apart, Alfred Kinsey remains focused and objective. His study on human's sexual behavior paved a way for the American society to become more aware about sex, to be able to talk about it more freely, to defy the norm, to realize that sex is a natural thing. I especially liked the bit about Kinsey's "relationship" with one of his co-workers, his conflict with one of his family members, and his interaction with his ever-loving wife, played beautifully by Laura Linney. I wish more movies were made as elegantly …
