The problem with this movie is that it pretends to under the device of time travel even when the doesn't know how to set it up right. The movie isn't all that interesting and kind of forgettable but Sandra Bullock did a solid performance at least.

I saw other version of this time-separated romantic film but this is superior to others. Very frustrating to watch but I must admit, I really loved how it ended. Plus, I like Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves together. :)

The premise of the film could have been better if it was accomplished the right way. Many dragging scenes, reason for the different time period was confusing and character development was not present. Unlike The Time Traveler's Wife and Somewhere in Time, the theory behind it was vividly presented. Its kind of weird having a romance when you just write each other, no spoken words and physical contact. The ending, plot, cinematography or film score wasn't memorable either. Not really worth your time unless your intrigued by the idea.

The whole magic mailbox concept is obviously ridiculous, but so is the idea of building a time machine out of a DeLorean. Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock are also hardly the greatest acting talents in the world, but this is the kind of romantic fluff that relies far more on the charm and likeability of its stars, rather than their ability. Basically if you like THEM, then you'll like THIS. The twist is also pretty obvious and you know it's all going to have a happy ending because it's just that type of film, but it does have some …
