A dark crime film without clearly defined good guys and bad guys. The grittiness and gray morality of the film may bother some people, but the film is directed with a kinetic energy that creates tension and thrills. Liotta and Patric have an odd partnership that is unique to watch.

This movie was decent. It was a very dark film that moved at an obscure pace. There are a lot of scenes that are just really twisted an they make the flow of the movie hard to follow. The biggest problem is that because the movie doesn't follow the normal rules of the standard crime / drama that most people have become accustomed to there are a lot of people that wrote this movie off as not being very good. Its good a good plot, but the execution is very different from what people are used to seeing.
