One of the better remakes I've seen. Lohan hasn't acted this good since.

A charming recap that doesn't have the same nostalgic feel of the original. It still is a fun movie, however, and young Lindsay Lohan is a real charmer here, proving she does have significant acting talent.

Hallie and Annie are two little girls who meet at the summer camp and soon discover that they are sisters who got separated at birth because their parents got a divorce. The parents are Nick Parker (Dennis Quaid) who now lives with Hallie at his vineyard in Napa, California, and Elizabeth James (Natasha Richardson), who makes her home with Annie in London.

However, Annie discovers that her father has plans to marry a younger woman Meredith Blake who just wants his money and can’t wait to ship his daughter to boarding school. The story tells us how the twins with the help of the California nanny Chessy and the London butler Martin plot to get their parents back together but in order to do so they have to switch places.

Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson had wonderful chemistry …
