Is it just me or this movie had some comedy to it when Robocop be came a class clown when he was broken, the movie is just alright Robocop kicks ass and the gore is enjoyable to watch.

While not a complete failure as a followup, it just doesn't have the same feeling the first film had. It goes for more flash and violence than actual story and compelling characters. A decent sci-fi films, but compared to the original, it's a half-baked effort.

In general, a mix up of all the good things in the first Robocop just not to the same effect. Suffers from having a few too many ideas that don't get followed through with. The action and violence is in the same nature as before and as a whole the film is a descent follow-up.

In fact it's a classic case of a writer thinking that filling a script with swearing and violence makes it "adult" where in fact it could not be more juvenile. It also misses the black-hearted satire of the original film that made it work so well, and some of the cheesy …

Peter Weller returns as police officer Alex Murphy or Robocop as he is also called, who this time must take on an evil OCP executive (Daniel O'Herlihy) and his helper Juliette Fax (Belinda Bauer) who want to replace Robcop with a newer more tough machine. He's also fighting the spread of a new highly addictive drug known as "Nuke" that is being distributed by a psychotic dealer named Cain. During a confrontation with Robocop Cain is critically injured. An OCP operative murders the drug lord in his hospital bed and puts his mind in her newest creation: "Robocop 2". In the battle that ensues, only one cyborg will be triumphant, will it be Cain or Murphy? I can reveal that they wreck half the city while trying to kill each other. Nancy Allen is great returning as Ann Lewis, Robocop's …
