I agree with what the other two users have said. It's a cheesy cult classic, but a good movie nevertheless. I enjoyed it so much that I bought the damn thing. lol.

There is an all-female gang in The Warriors, so it's not misogynistic. I wouldn't say being female automatically disqualifies you, however, being against totally cheesy cult films would stop you. I thought it was pretty good, in that totally cheesy kind of way.

It is the start of cheesy 80's classics (even though it was 1979). I liked the movie but I also liked a lot of bad movies like it.
