I finally saw it today, which is weird 'cause I'm Belgian and loved all the Belgium jokes. Is there something wrong with me...? ;)I thought Colin Farrell's performance was great, very funny but very touching at the same time. Flemish Belgian people have a very different accent than that spoken by the actors in the movie though, but I'm sure nobody outside of Belgium would notice that.

I think it was one of Colin Farrell's best parts yet. He was dynamite. Slow start to the film, but builds nicely to the end

I really really liked "In Bruges". Its different and offers a great, yet odd mixture of dark comedy and drama. I thought the proformances by Brendan Gleeson, Ralph Finnes, and Colin Farrell were some of the best of last year.

I might have to throw it at the bottom of the Old Movie cue and see if I still want to see it when it makes it to the top/

Depends. It is not really all that funny but can be at times. Here is my review:In Bruges (2008)2.5/4 starsNot Oscar (or Globe for that matter) worthy. Still, it was decent and quite the change of pace. A combination of Boondock Saints meets Coen Bros. A little over rated but funny, smart, and decently well acted. Maybe try it.view review +

I wouldn't see it. I thought it was not worthy of a nomination.

I would. I really liked it. It is in my top 10 of all time. But, that doesn't mean you will. It is not like a Coen Bros movie at all - more like Boondock saints.

I wasn't a huge fan of Boondock Saints but I like the Coen Brothers should I see this movie?
