I don't have high hopes or low hopes for this one. I don't think it will be as good as the original. I liked the formula of the oringal. It depends on how commercial they get - imagine if they ever did a remake to Independence Day. They would take the good parts of the original and try to amp them up...so much that it would way too much. It is too bad.

I would be willing to bet it will not be as good as the original but it should still be really good! The first one was just such a surprise, I had little expectations walki ng in to it and with this one I have some pretty high expectations.

sequels always have a hard time beating the first. Odds are it won't be quite as good, but should still be a blockbuster hit.
