I just watched it last nite. It wasn't AS bad as i thought it would be. But it was definately SEVERELY ok. If it had nothing to with Donnie Darko, it would have had a chance to be good; but, with that being said, if it had nothing to do with DD, it would clearly had been a rip off. Also, it was entirely too dependent on viewers seeing the first movie, there was absolutely no explanation for any of the "bizare" things happening.Oh, i did like the soundtrack. & i was pleasently surprised with the CW boys (James Lafferty & Ed Westwick) performances.

Not infuriated, just confused. There was absolutely no need to make this film. None whatsoever. Donnie Darko is a true original, and nothing more needs to be done. Hopefully this film will be so bad that it will be ignored and forgotton about within the year. My Fingers are crossed.
