This is a lovely classic adaptation of the story probably one of my favourites although its been a while since I have seen it.

this version inspired the animated film by Walt Disney and you can make a game of spotting visual and story influences. the plot is a little different and makes sense of some of the action in the later film. The seven dwarves have seven charming little counterparts in the palace: the handmaidens. A resourceful brown bird never forgets Snow White's early kindness and saves a number of lives in way of thanks.
