You are right, people are watching it. The DVD release will push the overall take on the film through the roof. Easily one of the top 5 movies of 2011. That doesn't mean it was a great film, but just entertaining enough to get one's money's worth. I am amazed at the number of adult comedies that came out this year. I still love Bridesmaids. Although Bad Teacher was not perfect, it did provide some good laughs.

I am convinced that this movie now sucks. Way worse than the first.

The Hangover Part II currently stands at $245 million and is the highest grossing movie of the year (so far). Despite the critical drubbing, it's apparent that people are watching the film - and given the numbers, probably multiple times.Where do you think the film will wind up at the end of the year? Granted, Transformers: Dark of the Moon is going to have a monster weekend (in the range of $165 million) and you have both Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2 not to mention another Twilight movie coming out this year. What do you think? I'm guessing within the top 5 films in terms of grosses. For all the complaints going around, I would say that it hasn't lost a step at all.

I thought it was good, although the humor does take a little bit of a different turn with more sex jokes and nudity, and violence (blood and a finger) haha but I still thought it was hilarious and I want to own it.

May I say some of the things that bothered me about this 2nd Hangover movie?Early in the movie, Phil (Bradley Coopers character) is trying to get Stu (Ed Helms) the dentist to let him try nitrous oxide in Stu's office, his whole focus of conversation seems to be drugs, alcohol and getting high or altered.  He complains about not having alcohol at the little impromptu bachelor brunch the guys are having -- as if there is nothing more important in life -- and the real kick in the head is that he has his baby with him!I leaned over and said to my husband: What is that man doing with a baby?!In the first Hangover, he was just a nice guy with a sense of fun and a willingness to get a little lit and have a little fun, but he was genuinely upset about Alan (Zach Galifianakis) spiking the beers with roofies! The drug-seeking in the 2nd one shows what I see as a major shift in character for him. Also Alan was zany & rather bizarre in the 1st Hangover, but in the 2nd he was arrogant and mean-spirited -- also a big shift in character.I felt in this 2nd one, the lovable characters we knew and sympathized with in the first one, to a large extent, took themselves away from the audience who loved them in the 1st one.I was disappointed practically from the beginning of the 2nd one, that Stu and the sweet hooker from the 1st one had split, tho' oddly his character stayed closer to who he was in the first one.I'm not a prude, and get a huge kick out of the crazy hijinx in the buddy movies, but I also look for core goodness in characters which speaks not just to being human, but humane and having a goodness of heart and soul...The fun was there in Hangover 2, but they let me down on who those characters seemed to have become within.

I liked it just as much if not for the story than for the characters. Yes it was pretty much exactly the same thing but in the end, that was OK with me.

One truly enjoyable&nbsp ;things about the first Hangover movie was that the guys were all actually pretty sweet and lovable -- even though they went a little on the wild side and messed up big time...  But this time there was a kind of jaded meanness about them... and some of the other characters... which detracted from the full enjoyment of the experience.Still there were some very funny moments and the highly intelligent, French-Inhaling monkey -- who was into some other bizarre antics -- was probably worth the price of admission alone.All-in-all I liked the first one a lot better than Hangover II.

I did see it and was entertained by it, but it is in fact a carbon copy of the first Hangover film, just set in a different location. Everything is there...the unexpected animal in the room, the hooker, the waking up with permanent damage but not remembering how it happened, and even the Asian guy returns, but this time he is part of the gang (maybe). It was a good movie, but what made the first Hangover so enjoyable was that it was so unpredictable. The viewer knows where this storyline is going right from the start. Just don't expect any surprises and enjoy the movie for the few laughs it provides.

Looks good to me, but is exactly the same? Not sure I can tell but hopefully it is almost as good as the first.
