Thanks so much for that information. It has been on my movie radar since the start of 2011, when I first saw the trailer. I thought that it was already wide-released back then. It's exciting to think it might make it to select theaters here in the U.S.

Based on the current release dates - it opened in Spain on 1-27-12 - but the next wide release date in France isn't scheduled until 1-30-13, and it doesn't even have a U.S. release date yet - I wouldn't expect it out on DVD until sometime next year. There's a good bet they will get the DVD in Europe before the US. If there are any art house type theaters around your area, your best bet would be to see if they are planning to screen it. I didn't go over it in detail, but there is an official website and they might have more information:http://www.arrugaslapelic ula.com/en/I have to agree with you, it looks like a great film - I will have to keep an eye out for this as well. I love animated films that carry more weight - Grave of the Fireflies and Persepolis being two examples that spring to mind - and from the sound of things, this looks to join those ranks.

Does anyone know if this film will come out to DVD? It has earned many awards, and I'm eager to view it.
