THE Cinematic Adventure Of Our Time
"Avatar" in 3D is, hands down, THE cinematic adventure of our time. Yes, by all means, it has its' predictable moments. Just as true as: "Peer Gynt, Hamlet, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Citizen Kane, A Doll's House, Pelle the Conqueror, Hunger, The Name of the Rose, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, The House of the Spirits, Love in the Time of Cholera (happily I have only read the novel here), Sophie's Choice, and many, many more great stories have heavy, clear elements of predictability in them story-wise. And thank heavens for that. Otherwise this would have been unbearable, and not a very successfull nor meaningful tale. This is for anyone in love with movies, adventures and the good tales: do not sit there in hesitation! Get out …
