So Grindhouse is coming as a full-length release. When are they going to release Kill Bill as one damn film like they should have originally? And are all the "fake" trailers going to be included for Grindhouse? I must research.

Sorry about no post Friday: 1) I was told Adam was doing a post on Salt 2) I had no internet at work until 2 pm and 3) I went directly from work to Nick's for Angie's birthday - it was a hectic day, but provided work doesn't have another outage, I'll keep on schedule.

Understandable, I guess. I liked Avatar but I think its seriously overrated. And Peter Jackson, as far as I'm concerned, is a better filmmaker than James Cameron. Even though the Lovely Bones sucked lol Still, I do respect your opinion : )

On top of that, I can come up with a boatload of movies that came out in the last decade that can kick Avatar's unoriginal ass, such as the Dark Knight, Memento, Donnie Darko, District 9, Mystic River, the Departed, etc. are all better than Avatar. Box office records don't mean anything if the movie can't live up to the numbers it recieves.

Return of the King was a massive acheivement in the world of cinema and earned Peter Jackson a best directing oscar and best picture. Avatar is just overrated. The story is unoriginal and the character's are cartoonish. Return of the King is a cinematic masterpiece.

I'm sorry, I respect your opinion but NO!! This is in NO way better than Return of the King. Return of the King had a real plot, more emotional depth, and better dialogue. This was just two and half hours and eye candy, unoriginal plot, and cardboard characters. Return of the King DEFINED the decade. Avatar is good, but overrated.
