I liked Burn After Reading but it was a tad loony. I liked A Serious Man better. Even though it was a lot more somber it still had its funny moments.
I should probably talk about A Single Man, but I really wasn't impressed with it!

Sorry, just thought of another idea....let me know if this is lame. this is about our idividual lists. I have a worst movie list, as do most of us. What do you think if in my worst list, for example, it there would be two check boxes next to each film. One check box would be for 'Agree' and the other "Disagree". Now, if you view my list you would be able to check one of those boxes. and when it is done you can see your vote along with other peoples screenname or whatever and their vote as …

Hey, I would put this on the talk forum but I don't know how often it is looked at. Anyway, question or idea--I think it would be cool if we could be able to post more pictures up, like have an album of our fav. movie posters or something.

No, I mainly rent, because I don't tend to watch movies over & over. However, I did get a gift certificate to Criterion, so I'm trying to figure out what to get. I have a couple ideas in mind.

Oh nice! I can't believe I haven't seen Gomorra yet, but I plan to rent it at some point. The Criterion release is exciting.

Inglourious Basterds is one of those films you have to chew on. You can't go in expecting Transformers 2 - I think it will stand up well to repeat viewings, though I don't see myself watching it over and over again. I'll sample it every now and then like a 33-year-old scotch.

"Nothing is wrong with it though I am not sure what is so great either."
You couldn't have said it better.

I bought the Ingmar Bergman Criterion box set (it has Seventh Seal, Virgin Spring, Wild Strawberries and Smiles of a Summer Night) and I'm finally getting around to watching all of them. So far, I've liked them all - he is truly a master of his craft. They can be a bit depressing - but the comedy is the last one, so I'll see if he can make me smile in addition to making me feel introspective.
