Alex, I've come to realize you are a true hypocrite. You say the time travel was lame....yet, First Contract used time travel. WTF? You are just looking for things to complain about. Time travel is an established practice in star trek, come on man. Did it need old Spock? Probably not, but who cares.

I see Alex you have officially become a critic of movies instead of a fan of movies. This movie rocked on a multiple levels. Was it perfect, no.....but it's a heck of a lot better than most movies out there.

I plan on seeing this film this weekend as do many other people i know. I had a discussion the other night about the film + he seemed shocked that i was concerned with the quality of this film. If what you say about place action and special effects ahead of the characters and story then i suppose my fears are true. Star Trek was always character driven + if they were going to reboot it they should focus on the characters. I guess i'll have a better idea after i actually see this movie but i'll …

i can't believe you gave A.I. 4 stars, really. where did that movie intend on going. what the hell was up with the blue fairy, or what ever. i took a date to that movie and then after never spoke to her again because she would always remind me of that piece of crap.
