Did you not read the end of the above post? I put it there to represent the series of speed. Speed is a dumb movie, is there worst made movies? Yes. Is there movies with dumber plots, it is arguable. Is speed two a half star movie. Yes. So collectively it is on my worst movie list. If I could put the speed series on there I would.

speed is one of the dumbest movies of all time. Speed two is worse of course but I put speed one there to represent the whole series.

Notice that I have an Entertainment section in my reviews. My list of best movies as a film is on my profile. My list of best movies as how much I like them is the one I gave you. Just for reference, My Top Five for 2007 as far as actually quality goes is (in alphabetical order per rating): Hairspray (10/10), Sweeney Todd (10/10), Atonement (9.6/10), There Will Be Blood (9.4/10), and Enchanted (9.2/10)

My top five for 2007, regardless of ratings are, in order: Sweeney Todd, Hairspray, There Will Be Blood, Enchanted, and No Country for Old Men. I honestly believe the best film of the year was Sweeney Todd, but if Atonement won at the Oscars I wouldn't be too upset. I'm not sure why I don't put Atonement in my Top 5 though. It was great, but it didn't have that impact that the rest did.

No Country for Old Men Review comment
The film couldn't have ended any other way. The Coens are exploring the nature of violence, why it happens to some people, why some live and some die. Chigurh never gets caught because random events always happen and there is no way to stop them. Bell realizes that he can't catch all the bad guys and that death is always just one unlucky break away. Yet he can't just settle into retirement as the final interaction with his wife makes clear. It's a life moment. And the film ends on it to show …
