I got another idea, how about having a movie quote quiz on the homepage. And the users could participate by answering who said the line and what movie it's from.

Not sure about There Will Be Blood. I usually get around to seeing PT Anderson's movies, however usually I don't rate them very highly and end up feeling ripped off. Sometimes there are elements of his films I like tho.
I was going to see No Country For Men, but I wasn't sure if I'd like it.

I like the movie trailers aspect, they seem to load faster then most other sites too which is nice.

I don't really find the freezing of dicaprio overly cliche, though I do think that there was plenty of wreckage for him to float on anyhow. But I really didn't like the old woman at the very end throwing the diamond into the ocean -- that was the cliche part.
