Yes i am around, i just don't comment that much (i did however add the missing movies you added to the database, thanks for that) Otherwise i just guess my taste is not such to find many people here interested in the same or similar kind of stuff i prefer, but that's how it always will be :)

Yea, as of now, Jenny hit a deer, so we're having to deal with that, but the 15th should still work. I'll keep you in touch.

Also I will get around to that Top 100 list, I'm trying to go through and create a list and rate all of the movies I've seen down by years. I've seen a lot of movies so I'm only at 1996 so far, but after I do that, I'll create my top movie list.

I just now saw your question about Ball State, I'm still new to this site, It has a little over 20,000 students and it's a pretty good school. Went there for film actually.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon ( Wo hu cang long ) Review comment
I do think HOFD is a movie that is more enjoyable to watch over and over. But I recognize how great CTHD is and the plot is more in depth and has better performances. But a star rating doesn't always mean I liked a movie better than another.

no I didn't get updates on the movies that were added, but I think I remembered most of them. and about the wages of fear. the ending was good, but I turned it off the first time I saw it, bc I was bored. Luckily I was able to enjoy the rest of it the second time, but if I had given up on it permanently (which I almost did) i would have missed out on his other great work. so it's not my favorite of his, but it's pretty good, but only toward the end. It takes too long to get started.

You need to see Persona, I've seen it twice, both times on the big screen, but I still don't get it. See it, and then try and explain it to me.

well, they obviously went back many times to re-do and prevent what they did before. One thing they accomplished was to stop the step-dad guy from getting in the time machine. Another was to stop that guy pulling a shot gun out at that party. And in order to stop those events, they needed to not change the course of events they went through to know that information, thus, trying to prevent a paradox. So that is why they recorded all conversation and used it to re-create every single step …
