hmm, sounds interesting. I too, didn't like Titus. I did feel that some of the songs in Dream Girls went on for far too long. I may give this a shot sometime.

well I am not looking forward to LfL. it was the same guy who wrote the Kingdom. He is semi-intelligent tho so hopefully LfL will be better. Glad you liked Across the Universe. I am not a Julie Taymor fan, but may see it bc of Evan Rachel Wood someday. I also hope to see Margot at the Wedding soon.

Thanks for the comment. I've never actually seen any of those movies, but in general American Gangster uses a lot of stuff that's been overused. For instance, Crowe's character is trying to take down crime while going through a divorce (or custody, I can't remember which). How many times have you seen that kinda thing before? There are some very unique things about the films, and I was happy to see they broke some typical gangster stereotypes, so I definitely encourage seeing it when it comes …

I noticed in your "films I hate and want to destroy column" that you have remakes and sequels. I hate to tell you this, but I took a class in college and I learned that the majority of movies now a days are remakes. So, you pretty much have to hate and want to destroy almost every movie that comes out.

I'm just signing up this today. I figured, I watch a lot of movies now that I'm a stay at home mom...they maybe Disney films but still....just kidding. Anyways, I'm excited to learn about the site and get involved! It seems really cool so far!
