I've actually never seen Sunset Blvd. It's one of those movies I always intend to see but have never gotten around to.
I didn't really like the Black Dahlia but primarily because I love the book, and the movie just strayed too far from the source for my tastes.
As far as Casino/Goodfellas goes, I love both of them but I like Goodfellas just a little bit more. Casino is a great film but there are portions that kind of drag as opposed to Goodfellas which is just really tight the whole way …

omg, rendition was totally intense---breathtaking pacing. amazing cast, tho some of the characters are a little flat, so not everyone gets to show what they've got. it's a heavy topic, but i think the film at least starts to address it, and does a pretty good job of it (really, how do you make a mainstream movie about torture?). there's a weird structural device near the end that i'm not understand the purpose of, and it does tie itself up in a neat little bow (well, sort of), which is kind of …
