It sounds like Dr. No, which is definitely the hardest to like. The first time I saw Dr. No it was my least favorite Bond movie but now it's in my top 6 or 7. It's the lightest on action out of all of the movies though. From Russia with Love is the introduction to Q and all of the gadgets and probably the darkest of all of the Bond movies.

I think From Russia with Love is definitely the best. You Only Live Twice and Moonraker I think are cheesy fun though. Moonraker is really underrated.
