I found both John Carter and Prince of Persia to be fun adventures, but I favor Carter more.

well I would agree on that. The Fighter is a much better film than Warrior.but I wouldn't say warrior is a worser version of The Fighter.but yeah The Fighter is a much better film.it's more grittier , darker and deals with family as well jus like Warrior, but with a more serious , darker approach (Warrior is serious when it comes to drama, but when compared to The Fighter,it's below that standard that The Fighter controls) what about THE WRESTLER? i love that film, what is your take on it?

no WARRIOR is not a satire. It's an amazing entertaining sports drama like no other.while people are on for MONEYBALL i'm with WARRIOR.

The Help is kind of civil rights lite - it's not exactly a text book example of the times, but neither does it shy away from presenting some brutally honest scenes. Just remember, it's a movie, not historic fact, and it will be more enjoyable.

Looks like some good info. I'm afraid I would cause some serious property damage to golf course homes if I took my clubs.

A little bit, yeah. I couldn't get past the awkward dialogs throughout the movie, it's like the screen play writer had writer's block for the dialogs between characters. Caused a big lack in character development, and to the story some too. The directing was good as well as the score, but I couldn't stop comparing Drive to The Transporter, which was a thousand times better. In fact, I think this is going to be my review!

The Help does sugar-coat the times a bit, but you can't fault any of the acting.

Drive was amazing - I am simply baffled as to why this was passed up for Hugo, War Horse or Extremely Whatever - We're seeing The Artist sometime soon - we'll see if it can come close.
