On the other hand, I would offer that the end succeeded in what it set out to do: be exciting. Moreover, would a different director have brought the level of quality to the ending that John Woo did? Or what actor would've done a better job running around killing people and blowing shit up? I honestly feel that they both did admirable jobs with the end of the film.
