Oh yeah, the wolves are hunting the men in 'The Grey'. It gets gory in parts. The film isn't just about that, though. That's why I liked it. It delivered way more than what the trailer promised. There was a deeper meaning behind it all.

Apocalypse Now is still my top war film - and Full Metal Jacket a close second, but Platoon still belongs in that company, slightly behind, but still right there.

I do - surprisingly good - I know I watched it before, but I don't think I could appreciated it until now. Probably my favorite Oliver Stone film. The whole village scene alone makes it worth watching.

That's harsh - but I agree Spielberg has been spinning his wheels. Hopefully this Lincoln biopic he's been working on forever rights his ship.

I have been going through your rating history for the fun of it and I'm surprised at how many movies I haven't got around to rating/reviewing yet. I thought I was doing pretty good, but wow, there are a lot of movies that were either completely mediocre or terrible that I just must have put out of my mind.
