The Corridor Review comment
Now that I think more on it - yes, it was like a crappier version of Dreamcatcher (which, let's face it - is a pretty terrible movie on its own). Maybe 1.5 was being too generous.

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter Review comment
I saw this movie for the first time at a drive-in theatre. Had to be 1971. I watched it on TV every chance I got over the years. I never saw it to buy it and now it doesn't show on TV. One of the richest films I ever saw. It has hung with me through out all these decades. How many films can you say that about. Wonderful characters and a charming yet deep script. If you have never seen this movie you really are missing something. God bless Mr. Singer. A wonderful man.

Gran Torino Review comment
Right on, dukeasmuch! In "Gran Torino", Clint Eastwood has proven once again that he's as good behind the camera as he is in front of it, if one gets the drift.
