The story is really short and in my opinion funny, takes only a couple of minutes to read :) Verhoeven got the point of the story and presented it masterfully - at the end we are not certain was it all real (memory) or just an implanted dream (my take) - which Wiseman either didn't understand or didn't know to put well in the movie.

Brain-dead action sf movie - yeah, that pretty much sums up my experience. Even though I got to see it early for free, it was a letdown. I should really track down the original story and read it, considering I am a sci-fi fan. I'll put it on my list of things to do (eventually).

Catching up on recent reviews - I was looking forward to this one, but my excitement is tempered by the overwhelming mediocre reviews for this movie. I just hope it turns out better than Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (in terms of horror anyway).

Finally, someone recognizes this flick for the piece of crap it is. LIke I said in my review, it's nothing but a bunch of video game action moments cobbled together to resemble a movie.

Thanks for getting back to me - if you want to fill out the information on any of the films with missing data, it would be appreciated, but it's not necessary. As long as you keep sending in the corrections, it will get back to me and I have no problem filling in the blanks.
