I felt the same way until I watched it again. It is an amazing film if you have the good quality DVD. I also like the mystique around it. Plus, I am a sci-fi fan.

I couldn't disagree with you more. I thought the acting was superb for a musical - and this musical actually tells a story. Best musical in my opinion, maybe ever - but at least since Moulin Rouge.
