I am sad to hear this. I will still see it but with low expectations.

The Great Gatsby Review comment

I'm glad the music is good - that's what caught my eye originally on this movie. I have seen a Luhrmann films before and this sounds like more of the same - lots of style but not enough focus. I'll be waiting for a rental on this one, I think - but despite the decidedly mixed reviews, I still am interested in it.

Django Unchained Review comment

I would say not only one of the best of films of the year, but one of the most inventive and daring. Tarantino pushes the envelope at times, but that's why I love the guy - he isn't afraid to take chances where pretty much no one else would go. Jackson was robbed - he's every bit as deserving as Waltz for a nomination - and DiCaprio as well. Can't wait to see what special features they have on this one.

Final year end tallies, some films actually dropped after all of the money was counted, the highest grossing film of 2013 and the 27th of all time was The Avengers. It dropped from #25 previously. The Dark Knight Rises is now #63 jumping up from #67. And the Hunger Games was re-adjusted 1 spot from #92 to #93. And Monsters, Inc. is now in at #100, knocking out Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
