The Most Influential Movies Ever comment

I'm surprised Jaws isn't on the list considering it is usually pointed out as the film that kick-started the whole "summer blockbuster" craze. I would also probably replace Shrek with Toy Story. Great list - I really need to add Double Indemnity to my watch list.

Has The Avengers officially passed The Hunger Games yet? If not, for sure by the weekend it will make the jump - some are predicting it will wind up topping The Dark Knight (though not Titanic) before it ends its run.

The Hunger Games (2012) is now #97. My prediction is by the end of the weekend it jumps to #95, that would mean it grossed a minimum of $4.4 million.

The Hunger Games (2012) jumped up to #98 from #100. It now needs $3.3 Million to pass Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991). I think it gets there.

The Hunger Games (2012) enters at #100. I'm guessing at the very least it catches How the Grings Stole Christmas (2000) and Sergeant York (1941), it only needs $408,000 to do that.

Titanic jumped to number 5 all-time, it needs another $61.4 million dollars to pass ET. I don't think that's going to happen. I also noticed that The Graduate has been re-released, it's currently at #21 and needs rougly $5 million dollars to pass Jurassic Park.

It's official, Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace jumped to #16. It needs $36 million dollars to reach #15, I don't think it can do it.

I loved the soundtrack. Absolutely perfect. I almost bought it but instead I listen to it on youtube. Glad you liked the movie though!

Changes on 2-17-12, Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace moved up from 19 to 18. It only needs another $6 million to move up to 16, but I don't see it getting any higher than that. To catch Return of the Jedi, it would need another $46 million, I just don't see that happening.
