Yeah, I'm a big horror fan....I think it's an under appreciated genre, so I think they deserve to be on the top. I had almost forgotten about Day Watch! I just hope a theater releases it here in Kansas when it comes out.

Okay, I got you. I did dig that. Though, I think he should have given a little more time for character development on some of the girls.

1ST DATE MOVIES REVIEW-Well; Misery was with my High School sweetheart. We were both nervous, so the movie provided some nice hand-holdin action. Event Horizon was so (YEESH!) even I was like, "and why did I bring a girl to this thing?" but i LOVED the movie! Pearl Harbor was DEF good, a love/war story. Underworld-We were both into how frikkin COOL this movie was. Coach Carter-We both loved "important issue" type movies. Disturbia-Yeah, alot of good "arm-clutching" but in the end, she just …

Halloween Review comment

Good review, without having see it yet, I can't really comment on the necessity of the vulgarity in the scenes with the abusive man and the children being present. While morally I object to that treatment in real life, movies I hold in a different ideal, if there are scenes that are considered to be reprehensible and children are cast in those scenes it is up to the director and to the parents and agents of the child in the scene to ensure that they are well aware that it is an act, and not to …

It wasn't as focused on Lori's POV as it was the other things surrounding Carpenter's story. (Loomis and the Sheriff at the station, Loomis at the cemetary, Michael actually coming home, how he got there, what he did WHEN he got there, etc) It was DEF different, but it was as though we were seeing the same story from another perspective...that's how I took it anyway.

I'm curious, I just saw this last night; and am an avid Halloween series fan. What did we see in this Halloween that we didn't get to see in Carpenter's? This comment is going over my head.

So, were they good choices for your first date? Ha! You should write a story about the outcome of the date for each. :)
