Yeah I see what you are saying. The way that it was so much like 28 days later is the fact that will smith thinks he is all alone, and that there is no one else around - exactly like 28 days later with Cillian Murphy. Also, the virus does the almost exact same thing as the rage virus in 28 days later (minus the flesh being eaten by the sun and the crappy animation).

Oh, and I don't think Titanic's ending is Cliche. Jack dies, which is unexpected because usually in a romance like this they both live and live happily ever after. This one actually did not.
