As for Its a Wonderful Life, I believe it deserves a 4 because despite some of its corny "Hollywood-isms", it really did its job right. I believe that without films like Its a Wonderful Life, we wouldn't have great films that represent movie magic at its finest, notably Forrest Gump and Back to the Future.

Yeah, Birth of a Nation is a complete piece of crap. I wish that movie had been lost in the sands of time like so many other silent films. That way noone would be forced to watch that atrocitie lol

Great list. I must say you have great taste in movies. Although I don't quite see what makes Shutter Island better than all the movies it's ahead of. I also like how you've only given 10 movies a full 4 stars lol. But again, a great list.

The best way to look at this isn't as a horror film. Its like Jaws, its not a horror story. Its an adventure story.

I agree that Big Lebowski is 1000x better than Donnie Darko. However, Donnie Darko's a bit more of a true cult movie. And thats the point of the list.
