I must confess that I haven't watched that many French films but I've enjoyed all the ones I have seen (even the one's that make me say, "huh?"). I recently saw That Obscure Object of Desire and of the others I've seen I really liked Belle de Jour, Indochine and the Three Colors Trilogy. What film that I haven't seen would you recommend next? Thanks.

Indeed. I saw The Money Trap on TCM a couple of years ago. Not anyone's best movie. I think Gilda is the best Ford/Hayworth film by far, but I have yet to see The Loves of Carmen or The Lady in Question. Did you ever see The Wild Bunch?
